Rank tracking
Positions every morning, and who is standing in front of you
Keywords checked daily, two pages deep, with the SERP features above the results - and Google's AI Overview in the same run.

One run, four things recorded
The check does not stop at your row. It records the whole top of the results, which is what makes “who keeps beating me” answerable without you having guessed the competitor first.
Answer boxes, People Also Ask, video and image blocks are recorded with who owns them - a first position under three features is not a first position.
What you get back
Your position
Checked daily, two result pages deep, with the URL that actually ranked.
The whole result page
Every host in the top of the SERP, kept per day, so share of voice is a measurement rather than an estimate.
SERP features
Which features sit above the results, and whose they are.
Google's AI Overview
Watched on the same keywords, at most weekly - an AI answer does not change daily, and paying for a daily observation would be four times the bill for the same signal.
Alerts that mean something
Lost, dropped, won. In the bell, and by email or webhook if you want them there.
History
Every check kept, so a position is a line rather than a number you have to remember.
Depth is recorded, not assumed
Every check stores how deep it looked. If a run stopped at seven results, a domain missing from that keyword may simply be sitting at eight.
So counts built on top of it are shown as a minimum rather than a fact. It is a small honesty, and it is the difference between a number you can use and one you have to second-guess.
Daily SERP placement tracking, in plain terms
Daily SERP placement tracking means one thing: for each keyword you care about, somebody asks Google every morning where your site actually sat, and writes it down. Not an estimate from a third-party index, and not a weekly average that hides the day it moved - the placement, on the day, recorded.
What gets stored for each check is the position, the URL that ranked (which is often not the page you expected), the SERP features sitting above the results, and how deep the run looked before it stopped. A position without those is a number you have to second-guess.
Placement is per keyword and per country, and history is kept from the first check onwards, so the chart is a record rather than a snapshot. Pause a keyword and the daily check stops that night - it is your allowance, and nothing spends it that you did not ask for.
It costs what it costs, and says so
Rank checks are billed in credits per keyword per day, and the plan page states the allowance before you commit to it.
Nothing runs that you did not ask for: pause a keyword and it stops being checked - and stops being charged - the same night.
Questions
- Once a day, at 03:00 UTC - before the Search Console and Analytics syncs, and at the least contended time of day for the search vendor.
- Two pages by default, so a keyword you are not ranking for on page one still gets a real position rather than 'not found'.
- For every keyword you track we record the whole top of the results, not only your row. Across your keyword set that says which domains keep appearing - including ones you never named as competitors.
- Yes. A position lost entirely is a critical alert, a significant drop is a warning, and a new top-ten entry is worth knowing too. They arrive in the bell, and by email or webhook if you turn that on.
