One click, from what they typed to what they did next

Search Console knows what Google showed and who clicked; Analytics knows what happened after. Together they give every finding a size.

Google's own verdict, not our inference

A page with no impressions might be unindexed, or indexed and never shown, or indexed and shown to nobody who searched for what it answers. Guessing between those from missing data is how a tool tells you to fix something that was never broken.

So the product asks the URL Inspection API directly and reports what Google says: indexed, crawled but not indexed, excluded, or discovered and not yet crawled - with the reason Google gave and the date it last looked.

What Google answers when asked about one URL
  • IndexedGoogle is holding it
  • Crawled, not indexedFetched and rejected - the one worth reading
  • Discovered, not crawledKnown and not yet fetched
  • ExcludedA rule of yours or a duplicate

All four look identical from the outside: no impressions. Only one of them is a problem you can fix on the page.

The queries one position short of the fold

A query averaging 11 to 20 is already being shown to people. It is not a gap in your content - it is a page that ranks, one place below where anybody sees it, and the work is an edit rather than a new article.

Weighted by the impressions the position was measured over, so a rank held once on a quiet Tuesday does not outweigh one held all week. It is the most actionable thing in that API and almost nothing surfaces it.

Position, and where the fold is

“memewars crypto” — position 11.7

26 impressions, no clicks. A real query from a connected site.

Two places is the whole distance between being shown and being seen.

What Analytics adds that a crawl cannot

A crawl can tell you a page is slow. It cannot tell you the slow page is the one 4,000 people land on, or that they leave it in nine seconds. Rank the same findings by the traffic behind them and the top of the list changes - usually completely.

And it carries one channel worth watching on its own: visitors arriving from AI assistants. Small on every site measured, and engaging far better than anything else - on one connected site, 87% engaged against 15% for every other channel.

What nobody can measure, said before what we can

Whether your page was quoted inside an AI Overview is not available to any tool. Search Console’s API has no AI dimension: both of our own properties were probed for every plausible value of type and searchAppearance and each was rejected, while known-good values returned normally in the same run. Anyone selling you that number is selling an estimate.

Arrivals are measurable, and that is what this shows - people who came from an assistant, how many, and whether they stayed.

What connecting them adds

  • Queries and landing pages

What people typed, which page answered, and where it sat - beside that page's technical findings rather than on another screen.

  • Indexation, from Google

The URL Inspection verdict per page, with Google's own reason and the date it last looked.

  • Findings ranked by traffic

Order the work by the audience behind each page instead of by severity alone.

  • Traffic from AI assistants

The GA4 AI Assistant channel, with the engagement rate that makes a small number worth reading.

Questions

Read-only, through Google's own consent screen. We can read your Search Console performance and URL inspection data and your GA4 reports; we cannot change anything in either. Revoking is one click in your Google account and it removes the rows the connection filled.
The numbers are the same; where they sit is not. In Search Console a query and a technical problem live on different screens and nothing joins them. Here the impressions for a page sit on the same row as that page's findings, which is what turns a list of fixes into an order of fixes.
No, and neither can anybody else. Search Console's API exposes no AI surface at all - we probed both of our own live properties for every plausible value and every one was rejected, with known-good values passing in the same run as a control. What is measurable is arrivals: GA4 reports an AI Assistant channel, and that we do show.
Search Console gives sixteen months and we take all of it on the first sync. Analytics is backfilled fourteen months by default, month by month, with progress shown while it runs.
No. Each is useful alone. Search Console is the one to connect first if you connect only one - it is the half that says whether anybody was offered the page at all.
